Grant Writer - Full Time

Job Description:

Second Chance is seeking a full-time Grants Officer. The Grants Officer reports to the Vice President, Advancement & External Affairs, and works closely with Chief of Programs and senior programs staff to create yearly calendar for grant submissions; writes or assists with city, county, state and federal government RFPs and grants; researches and writes foundation and corporate LOIs and grants; writes foundation and corporate grant reports; assists Finance Office with government contract reports as needed; maintains professional communications with grantors.

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in grant writing or related field or three years’ grant writing experience; expert in writing English. 

Compensation: Based on experience and qualifications. Employer-paid healthcare coverage for employee.
